I've been contemplating lately, what is the true meaning of 'Marketing'?

Internet marketing these days becomes very competitive in terms of getting quality traffic, I have 2 other blogs in health and property investment and it took me a while to get traffic.

I would like to give another perspective and based on my real experiences, I have another web and selling someone house, and luckily since I was on first page Google, the house owner trusted his properties to me and sign an agreement to sell, next thing is just wait until the real deal is on.

Marketing Screw Up

Hi,

Today I just had an arguments with my managements discussed over the task that I have to carry on taking more products to sell to customer.In fact in my opinion this marketing strategy is a blunder and can not withstand any pressure feed back from principal and customer, hence the problems is bottle necking and jammed at one point the internal conflict will happen and the incumbent will be confused in how to accomplish his sales target.

I don't understand what kind of office politics they are playing, since the old school thumbs says it is cost efficiency and I agree in that opinion, but jamming the multiproducts is over driven by some characters who thinks on cut savings is required without thinking of sales operations.

Since I am only middle management and I couldn't afford to debate my director, the only thing I can do is just get along and do what I can do, yet I will not put more effort, because if I do that, I will get stress and sick. Since all balls are on my head, I am going to do marketing guerrilla to every customer by increasing sales potentials and branding awareness. This marketing strategy will works, since in the past I have done that and will put the pressure back to internal office and can get lots of tensions, that's the real game and if the director put the blame all I can say is, I am just doing what you have told.

Marketing strategy only applies if people in top managements is really sharp about what is happening in sales operations and not just doing pinpoint and mixing with cut cost budget, they should put the right man in the right place. Terminate the employee who has the attitude ass kissing to management. This kind of behaviour is like cancer, all they do is just playing office politics and never really care about professionalism ethics. I don't understand why the owner of the company is blind not seeing this thing.

Well, I guess that's balance of live and we only can get along and play the games, sometimes you just have to play office politics if you want to survive although you don't like it.

I never like office politics, but this time I am going to play my tunes and putting the chaos theory for my benefit. You know what chaos theory is, if everything is already screw up and messed and definitely it is not your fault it is somebody else mess, first don't try to fix it, you will be insane, put another screw up to your benefits, hence the chaos theory is another chaos will occur chaos and everything is balance and you will benefit.

Home business, in terms of search engine with looking keywords with exact phrase have an competition of over 200 million sites.

If you want to generate leads to have visitors and mainstream income, then the first step is making your sites on page #1 in Google.

Not easy if you used keywords and or niche market with tight competition, though it is challenging to do research on how to get top of the page.

I am doing 3 and 4 keywords using organic search engine, and it works on page #1 Google.

Today the author would like to share experience in Marketing Strategy, look simple on the surface, honestly it's not easy, the biggest mistake that people makes is not compiling data research during market research analysis and jump to marketing strategy, and minimum knowledge about their competitor, although the incumbent is very good bluffer in terms to face to face with customer, believe me this kind of strategy doesn't work, it will be disappointment at end.

One must do their home work, before applying marketing strategy, it should collect all the related marketing intelligence to your handbook, competitions, market share, pricing strategy, raw material strategy outsourcing, numbers of employee of our competitor, knowing existing contract or business venture with customer and or clients, how many sales task force working for targeted customer and project, movement of their head quartets and policy makers, update news on government issues regulating with pertinent law related.These are basic information's that any marketers at least should have in their mind otherwise it is just wasting another time and will be in vein.Or if you want to simplify it divide into 4 quadrant P E S T( Political, Economy, Social Culture, Test or Targeted), I hope I got that right.

After exercising with the above descriptions at least 1 year on sales field, the incumbent will have the feeling insight and if he has the intelligence knowledge in his head, he can Rock and Roll any competition to his advantage. Yet the management will surely has to support otherwise it is useless.

Marketing research is basic foundation for every marketers to obtain the road map to success, requires extensive of deep research analysis and method of research itself. Great numbers marketing professional fail at end, the reasons behind this failure due to lack of in accuracy of marketing research, fail in this first step will definitely have impact on the analysis of Sales Potentials, market share and finally the market share analysis compare with the competitor analysis as we are talking on variety of specifications into segmented area.

The author currently is working offline, and involve in pumps sales and marketing for oil and gas industry on the downstream side, for 1 month gone, found that the sales potentials can not meet the requirements to match the pump specification and segmented market, hence were experience during tender stage it was run out of spec and failure to comply with market requirements.

Specifically, I have report to management that we should extract all the market analysis and redone the research to overcome this failure in the future.

Vice verse the management agreed upon to, and my task now is to recalculate the Identification Project List all over again, count prospective sales potentials and last but not least to justify the manufacturing Pumps specification whether it is in the market share specification, if the answer is yes, then it would be calculated as Sales Potentials.

In my several years experience in marketing, the basic research is the key success to measure our market progress, it doesn't matter whether at the end we will win the tender or lost it, what really matter now is to have the right guidelines to measure the right market viability to end results.If the 1st year, marketing plan has been implemented as mentioned above, the 2nd year is the turning point to determine how much market share we are interested to acquire, with an advantage of previous year maintaining the relationship with customer.

Today I want to share with you a compelling story from Kimball Roundy, founder and inventor of The SpiderWeb Marketing System. The Depressed but Blessed Monday

I will never forget the day I first stumbled across the concepts that started me down the path of research and development of the Spider Web Marketing System. The Master Plan

I was certain that after this huge "opportunity" BBQ, everyone in my company was going to be coming to me to figure out what I had done to recruit so many people. Previous small casual BBQ's at my home had been somewhat effective and encouraging, so I was sure that this large gathering was going to be just that much more effective.

I spent well over $1,000 getting ready for the BBQ. I purchased enough hamburgers and hot dogs to feed a small army, as well as volleyball equipment, horseshoes, and badminton sets. I rented the largest park in town, a grill the size of my truck and everything else I could think of to make this an enjoyable and successful "meeting".

Then, with a bit of help from some of my top guys, I passed out between ten and fifteen thousand flyers. We talked to everyone we knew and everyone we met as we were preparing for the event. I literally only slept an hour or two each night for the entire week leading up to the BBQ.

Finally, the day arrived. There was a buzz of excitement running through my whole organization. Unfortunately, it would soon be smothered, along with the hearts of everyone who had worked so hard to help put this event together. So, out of the 20,000 people who had heard about the BBQ or got a flyer, the grand total that showed up was...76. Not quite the 5,000 I was hoping for or even the 500 I was willing to settle for--76.

To add salt to an already painful wound, out of those 76 I was able to pitch my opportunity to, there was a total signup of -24.

"How is that possible?" you ask.

Well, I had worked and overworked my entire team and placed way too much emphasis on how well things were going to work out and how easy it was going to be once we were done recruiting the masses that were inevitably going to show up. So, in the face of this massive failure, I lost any and all confidence that my team had in me as a leader. Within a few days, despite my best effort to retain them, I had lost them all.

So there I found myself -- broke, broken, depressed, forced to go back to a job which I had hoped never to return to and searching for any reason I could find to keep myself from giving up on my MLM dream.

Then I found it - the key, the concept, and the strategy with which to make it a reality (which had been hidden right under my nose for five years) that unlocked my mind from the chains that this industry had placed on me. This is the concept that would open my eyes to a new way of looking at this business and a way of seeing things that I had never before been shown.

I'm excited for this blog entry, and I hope you are too. In the last entry, I talked about five characteristics I've seen in my experience that have led people to real success in the network marketing industry. In my opinion, you cannot be successful without them. With them, however, you are in a strong position to achieve your aspirations in this industry.

Spider Web Marketing Maximizes Tahitian Noni and Xango

I once knew a guy who did pretty well for himself through Tahitian Noni. But I know you've heard something like that before. Now, I'm always quite skeptical of all the amazing MLM testimonials about so and so who went from rags to riches and would like you to join his downline as soon as he returns from his month vacation in the Maldives. Internet Marketing: First Time Encounter

The experience below is shared by a newbie in internet marketing for your reference as a first timer.

This time I want to share the experience of my first day as involved in Internet Marketing, I was electrified when reading Sales Page from somebody I do not know in my inbox, claiming to be wealth and prosperous in short notice. I respect their effort to promote their websites, although sometimes the ethics conducted is unethical, using spam, or spider crawler.

The second day I started to think and join one of affiliation, though not having websites, with high hopes and spirit, I do promotion to free ads, pay ads, even news paper, forums, groups, I was doing it for the whole 3 weeks in a row, working on it 4 hours a day, and at the end the result was disappointment.

The problems when promoting in forums, groups or mailing list, in the forums, they are also promoting same stuff, in the groups they only allowed to promote on certain area, mailing list is the worst once you join certain mailing list the moderator will have restriction, no ads, no promo, no MLM network. It becomes more frustrating.

But I didn’t loose my focus, I started to buy e-books and study step by step ,and tried various things, this e-book is good, but if your going to take tutorial step-by-step, it will become more time consuming.

At last I had enough of reading about SEO, Traffic Engine, etc. then I realized that making your own blog or sites and fill it up with your own content is worth more value and will also educate our soul.

My internet marketing mentor also said the same thing, writing article with our own content is wise though take time to build links but it will build strong foundation.
